Salvador Torres - Artist in Residence, ImaginArte and California Ethnic and Multicultural Archives

With the concept of the Barrio University we were looking at two things: the artists were involved in taking and working the land, painting murals and planning. The process of planning was difficult but we began to plan for the needs of the community. We decided to develop la Universidad del Barrio and this is a design of that idea.
