Salvador Torres - Artist in Residence, ImaginArte and California Ethnic and Multicultural Archives

This is the Coronado Bridge. It was during this time period that I proclaimed that we were going to utilize murals. The idea of painting murals in this huge monumental structure was quite a challenge, I had to think about how it was going to be done. In the meantime, the California Highway Patrol station was going to take the bridge maintenance facility and they had already set up for their parking lot, vehicles where going to be put there, they already had antenna and a generator set up.
