Title: Día de los Muertos Annual Procession and Ceremonia
Date: 1977
Site: St. Mary's Cemetery, 21st Avenue and 65th Street, Sacramento,
CA
Art Center: Royal Chicano Air Force
Comments: "As with many Chicano communities, in Sacramento
we also celebrated 'Día de Los Muertos', but we have celebrated
ours for many years at the main Chicano cemetery in Sacramento. It
is here that the majority of our familias are buried so it makes our
ceremonia that much more real because we come to visit our recently
deceased each and every year."
