Members of Los Gallos (Salvador Torres, Clarence Vasquez, Gilbert Aguinaga, Horace Pina) and the girls’ club Blue Velvets (Helen Delgado, Cecilia Chavez, Sylvia Gomez) traveled to Sacramento to represent the youth of San Diego. Los Gallos provided the slogan, "The cure for juvenile delinquency is adult decency."
