As members moved away, formed families, or obtained full time jobs in the late 1950s the group disbanded. In the 1990s, members of Los Gallos regrouped and began by planning a live-music dance with members of 1950s R and B bands. One of their aims was to help pay for the restoration of historical photos from the Los Gallos period.
